Set up easy, good picture quality, connected directly to modem and streaming is seamless so far, connected indoor antenna and very satisfied with local channel connection and quality. We use a Sonia sound bar and haven’t figured out a way to connect that but allowed me to download angel studio app among others.

I love this tv for the simplicity it has connecting to the internet and being able to stream anything or watch YouTube in a matter of seconds with limited issues involving connectivity. My house has used FireTV products for years and we continue to for the ease of use and accessibility. The sound and picture quality is perfect, especially for a 32 inch tv, allowing me to stream top YouTube videos and movies while not feeling anything missing from the experience. I do wish the tv felt more substantial when moving it as my household has had issues with the stability of prior models, and I do wish it had more connector cables for old DVD and VHS machines in case I wanted to watch something unavailable on tv or streaming.

I purchased this unit to install for a wall mount.

The screws that came with the tv are not exactly the right ones to use. Use one screw with an impact wrench (bad choice I know) and it broke right off. Could not remove it with regular pliers for the life of me. Ordered a screw extractor pliers and using a good grip strength, it came out.

Tried using the same screws that came with the tv and the second one broke off as well. The screws look like wood screws and the place where it goes in looks like it takes a millimeter screw.

So researched what nut size it might use. Most of the reading says a M6 screw. So ordered a kit with different sizes not knowing which might fit.

The size that it needed was a M4-12 screw. Guessing the 12 is the number of threads on the screw. It appears to be a little long. So, measured with a toothpick and compared the length. There was a tiny gap. Solution was to add a couple of washers to each screw and with the bracket, it fit nicely.

The sound quality is very good. I was planning on a sound bar but I decided I don’t need one. The set up was nice since it came with my Amazon account already installed. I installed an aftermarket stand so it would fit on the stand that I already had and so it would swivel.

The only downside for me is the fact that it always defaults to Prime whenever I turn it on so I have to change it constantly to cable when I don’t want streaming.

The sound, quality, everything is perfect! It took me a bit to get the feet on, but I don’t have proper tools! I asked for a delivery on a Monday since I’d be out of town, unfortunately it was delivered early and had to rush home to get it. Once I got home sack dab on the front was ‘SMART TV’ ‘OPEN WITH CAUTION’ left right on the front porch 🤦🏻‍♀️ also don’t know if the driver laid it down but I have a feeling it blew over since it was pretty windy. But the TV itself is amazing! Easy to connect all the apps and such an easy setup! Speed is a little laggy, but it’s only because I haven’t updated my router best purchase I’ve made!

I waited a couple months to review this because I was so happy about the $99 deal that I thought that might muddy my review. I’m happy with this TV as a bedroom TV. It is my first and only Amazon Fire TV. I enjoy the bluetooth capability because I guess I’m old and this is my first bluetooth capable TV in the bedroom. I can connect my earbuds to it when my kid takes over my bedroom and watch without waking her, score. The picture is good but not as good as my Vizio. Lots of settings though. The sound is average, also. My biggest complaint with this is how slow it is. It takes forever to load apps, load streaming channels (I use Youtube TV), everything. It freezes for several seconds, sometimes longer. Often I will leave the room for several minutes and come back to the audio still advancing but the frame stuck on something from 10 minutes ago. I think it was a good deal, but it’s still a $99 TV.

Bought this TV for my aunt with a disability to be able to watch her shows without holding a remote, she just uses her alexa to voice navigate to her favorite shows. The set up could be made easier there’s no good way to get to the most recent season of a show by using alexa so that can be hard but usually someone is there to help. The tv itself is nice good picture, probs could of found a better deal but it serves its purpose and I’m not mad about it.

Second TV in a row I bought that the screws didn’t fit the feet. I remembered while I was chatting regarding the return ..that the last time I ordered more screws from Amazon and then they refunded me the price of the screws I ordered. That’s the plan this time too.

Other than that it’s your standard bedroom TV 720, not 4K not ultra. It’s fine , good colors great picture. Thin frame around the panel.. Lightweight..$100 buck smart fire tv

Well I have to say this TV was so nice when I bought the 75 inch version we went ahead and got the 40 inch one for the bedroom! This is a great TV and it is pretty much a LARGE ALEXA, we love the quality of the picture, the refresh rate is really good with games and movies. We love how even with our Ring alarm system it automatically pops up a picture in a picture to show the live camera feed so you do not miss anyone or packages coming by.

This tv is well worth the money you should defiantly get one if you are in the market for a new tv!

I absolutely dislike not being able to get to my channels or as in CNN, it not being available. I have found this TV is very frustrating. Yes, it comes with oodles of free movies and news streams etc but I have found some of the news streams are dated.

I installed the Uverse app so I could get to some of my channels but today I can’t get the CURRENT ABC This Week with George Stephanopoulos — only one from 8/5 and this is 8/13. I have installed the ABC App as well. This is just one example.

I have to keep my cable Uverse in order to get to some channels and research has indicated that none of the streaming subscription services have all of the channels I watch (not sling, Fubo, etc) as options to drop cable TV. So, I still have Uverse but without the ability to watch the broadcast channels that come with my Uverse.

Whether I use the power on button to turn the TV off or SLEEP under the device and software option to turn it off at times, the sound comes back on with a black screen. This can happen within a few minutes or over an hour later. This can happen when not home. I recommend unplugging the FireTV if leaving for a day or more.

I wish I had purchased a regular TV rather than the FireTV. I would be less frustrated.

Update — it seems the programs I was looking for are made available later in the day. Suddenly appearing. My frustration is reduced. I hope that next week the same will be true.

The display is excellent and the sound is fine too.
