We love these fire sticks we have about three from y’all we may buy some more they have helped out around here a lot as far as watching movies and other TV shows like old shows TV shows they work great

I have two fire sticks, each used on a quality Samsung TV. In recent months I’ve had the same problem with both: When viewing a movie on Prime, the subtitles run 20 seconds ahead of the action. It does not occur on any other streaming service. I have tried every possible way to get help with this, and the automated answers, or simple googling has done no good whatsoever. If you need a real human to help with a problem, you are out of luck. I can still watch prime properly on my with my Comcast Xfinity remote, but it’s not without other issues. SO— I love my firesticks except for this problem which only started occurring in the last couple of months. It would be nice if a real human would read this and get back to me.

After 1 week, Amazon customer support suggested to turn on the Ultra Deep Color setting on my LG 2020 model 65″ TV. After I followed this suggestion and tested the HDR, It now the HDR works. Now, im not sure why the audio from my soundbar is low…Updated review to 3 stars because of this and because it took almost 2 weeks to resolve the HDR issue….

This version(2023) of the 4k max is just as fast, but not any better than the previous. I have notice that some apps are slow to start-up. It has more storage, however, the (HDR)high dynamic range does not work while watching Netflix or Hulu, etc. This version seems to be a step backwards in terms of picture quality… It’s disappointing
that Amazon releases these new devices with so much haste and without ensuring the quality of them. Not worth the $59.00 I paid for this firestick. I may return to my previous firestick 4k max until Amazon fixes the bugs. I recommend others to also wait until Amazon decides to fix the reported bugs….

In the past decade, I have purchased close to 8 firesticks for multiple TVs for both work and home. They are exactly what you want. When I can find them on sale (which they usually run a few times a year), it’s worth it to grab one if you don’t have it.
The Firestick is pretty compatible with the Roku (we have both at home on different devices). I don’t feel strongly one way or the other. However, occasionally, some apps will work on one device and not the other. I feel like more apps generally work quicker on firestick then they do on the roku.

the firestick has honestly went above and beyond my expectations! if you have an internet connection then you have anything you could ever imagine to watch!!! did i mention you can also surf the web on this device? its hands down one of my favorite items ever purchased through amazon!

As someone who is seriously tech-challenged, I was surprised at how easy it was to set up and use. I previously streamed Prime, Netflix, etc., using a Sony Blu-Ray player which was wracked with problems. Among other things, it repeatedly lost internet connection, sometimes mid-show. Having to reboot the system and/or re-enter my WiFi password every few days was frustrating. I haven’t had that problem with the Firestick. Everything is easy and straightforward. Voice recognition is on point, picture quality is clear, and volume range is good. I am very happy with this purchase, and I bought another one for my second tv.

Me and my wife both have Prime. We have both purchased separate subscriptions. However the Firestick is registered under mine preventing her from accessing her subscriptions. From what I can tell from the AMZ Forum, we have to go thru the time consuming process to deregister and re-register each time we want to switch.
The AMZ forum is useless and is just and endless loop of signing in, re navigating to the forum and having to login in, preventing anyone from asking a question or leaving a reply.
She can only access her paid content on her tablet.
There is also no way to leave a channel on all night or all weekend. It will eventually go to sleep.
The remote is quite small and awkward to use even after 2 months
The Firestick app and lack of support is not to the level as Amazon shopping. It actually is quite poor. I am writing here because of lack of support.

Es un dispositivo muy práctico que nos permite añadir la capacidad de volver smart una TV no tan moderna. Le agrega Netflix, Amazon, YouTube y otros muy variados. Quedé muy contento funciona como se espera y la entrega fue super rápido. Apenas lo pedí ayer sábado y hoy domingo ya disfruto del artículo.
