I have a very old ‘NADY’ VHF Wireless Microphone System. I used to use it for seminars and public address systems. I wondered if it would work on my iPhone12. Problem is the NADY output plug [male] is a ‘TS’, 1/4 mono jack, like a guitar jack. Luckily,I had a TS socket [female] to TRRS plug adapter for the old system.

Purchased this adapter, plugged in the lightening adapter to the iphone, the TRRS plug from the NADY into the socket on this Apple adapter, cranked up the old NADY and….AMAZING!

Worked perfect. Thank you Amazon, Apple and NADY.

      Two reasons I purchased this:

      1) I like using quality headphones with 3.5mm jack…this allows me to use my already existing headphones with my iPhone.
      2) While you can use Apple’s lightning airpods I found that the sound wasn’t as strong with just the stock lightning headphones. Using this adapter with Apple’s 3.5mm headphones and the sound quality was a lot better. Both apple headphones I tested this with were brand new at the time.

Sucks Apple makes you purchase this…but sadly it’s worth it.

I recently repurchased this adapter to connect my 3.5 mm audio devices to my Lightning-equipped devices, including an iPhone 12 Pro. It’s a small accessory that serves a big purpose as my prior investment in wired headphones and speakers has been extended.

Compatibility was no issue. The adapter works seamlessly with all devices that have a Lightning connector and support iOS 10 or later, including my iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone. No drivers are needed.

I own several of these adapters. They hold up well to plugging and unplugging, but like all Apple cables they will fray and cease to work after a year or two.

Now, don’t even get me started on Apple’s decision to abandon standard sound inputs in favor of Lightning cables, and their now expected decision to abandon Lightning in favor of USB-C cables for new devices. But if you have older 3.5 mm audio devices and still use Lightning-equipped devices, this adapter is a godsend.

The Apple Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter is a simple yet indispensable accessory for anyone with newer Apple devices that lack a built-in headphone jack. This small adapter allows you to connect traditional 3.5 mm headphones to your iPhone or iPad with a Lightning port. It’s incredibly convenient for preserving your existing wired headphone investments or for using your preferred headphones. The audio quality is excellent, and the adapter is compact and easy to carry. While it would be nice if Apple included it with their devices, it’s a reliable and must-have accessory for those needing to bridge the gap between old and new audio technologies.

Apples come in all different colors, red, green… WHITE. WHY APPLE? Now putting my frustration aside (cuz as an iPhone owner I need to get an adapter or just wireless earbuds that are so bad when making calls) this adapter is good. My first owner lasted about 6 months and I took it literally EVERYWHERE. I slept with it, ate it, had on my pocket when traveling the world and still lasted 6 months. I’m gonna say these adapters no matter where you buying them or the brand it’s best to be very gentle with them and make sure you not doing anything that can break or bend idk I’m not a sensor person but I listen to lots of music and these lasted 6 months I am quite surprised maybe my expectations are so low hey if anyone finds something that lasts a year or over lemme know

Performs as a you would expect an apple product to. Good sound quality. Looks great.

I bought this so I could use corded headphones while backpacking. Bluetooth ones are nice but it’s just another thing to keep charged. This adapter ensures I can always use my headphones. As a bonus, it weighs next to nothing and takes up very little space in my electronics bag.

I like how cheap it was. The quality was nice. I really needed one and this was the cheapest I could find and it still works perfectly fine.

I listen to audiobooks all the time and wasn’t aware the new phone had no port for earbuds. I ordered this the first day! Works great! I’m back in business!

These are great to have around in case you misplace your iphone earbuds! This great little connector allows you to use any pair of standard earbuds or headphones with your lightning connector of your ipod! We’ve purchased several of these and won’t be without them in our tech pack.
