I got this in a bundle with the Curl and Volume one (pink), and I honestly like the pink one better. It might be because I have very thin, straight lashes, so this is not as noticeable. Even when I curl my lashes, it takes a VERY lightweight formula to hold the curl for even a couple hours, and this was just too heavy. But even so, this is a nice mascara, especially for the price!! No smudging or flaking, nice and dark without getting overly clumpy.

I absolutely love this formula of mascara! I wear my natural lashes and don’t wear strip or individual lashes so I need a good mascara that gives me that effect and THIS one is it. The reason why I say that is because it’s buildable so if you want a soft look you can have that and if you want the dramatic spider leg looked (I do lol) then you can build up to that as well. I also love the formula because it doesn’t irritate my eyes and I don’t feel bad if I fall asleep with make up on. I overall recommend the formula/mascara on all levels and it’s also truly black. You also can’t beat the price and I like that I can always find this no matter where in the world I am & don’t have to comprise on harsh ingredients & not so good formula
Ive been buying this mascara over and over! First off its super cheap and the effect it leaves you would never believe. I used to spend so much money on expensive mascaras that didnt do half of the work this one does. If you buy this ones, you probably will never go back to anything else. I have recommended it to so many of my friends and family and they all absolutely love it!! I did try their water proof one and wasnt as impressed but im perfectly fine with this one! It doesnt smudge and stays on long, plus it lengthens your lashes and makes them look fuller and not flaky! Personally i love it and prob will never go back to any other one! I just hope they don’t discontinue this one 🙈

I have wanted to try this mascara since my FYP has been flooded with influencers hyping this up. I gave this a try and im not impressed. Yes I do have VERY short lashes but this mascara formula is so dry and crumbly. It took 3 coats for my lashes to barely have any product on them. Felt like I was using an old dried up mascara thats been sitting around. Not great, but kinda what I’d expect at this price point.

I saw this mascara on Facebook and thought it might be good. I am really impressed! It makes me look like I have false lashes on almost immediately. I had bought a much more expensive mascara previously that didn’t work anywhere near the level that this one does. For the price, you can’t beat it! I wear contacts and it doesn’t irritate my eyes and it also washes off very easily when I’m removing my makeup.

Mascara is pretty much the only makeup I wear and I even stopped using that when I started having to use medicated eye drops twice a day. Then I just decided one day I wanted to try mascara again so was looking for something very budget-friendly and non-waterproof that would be easy to wash off and not irritate my eyes. This seemed like a good bid so I ordered the green label “false lash effect” tube. I’ve been using it about a month now and don’t have any strong feelings for or against it, it’s just kind of an “ok, it will do” situation because the price was right.
Does it make my lashes more prominent in just one coat? Yes. But it seems kind of dry and doesn’t glide on as I’d expect. It’s not as easy as just wiping the wand across the lashes and getting coverage, I have to keep brushing here and there with the wand at different angles to get all the lashes. But I’m not a make-up maven so maybe this is how it is with all mascaras.
As for washing it off, it takes more effort than I’d like as it needs more than just water to remove. Water alone just leads to raccoon eyes so I’ve taken to applying a tiny bit of moisturizing body lotion (I learned from experience a while back that oil takes off mascara) to a cotton ball and gently wiping my eyes with that after I’ve washed with just water.
Overall, I don’t have any particularly strong love it / hate it feelings for this product so am giving it 4 stars because it’s an OK product for those who don’t want to spend a fortune on makeup.

This isn’t waterproof, (the green one) idk how many types of Essence Princess mascara but quite a few to choose from. I usually get waterproof but decided to go without waterproof this time & see how it holds up. I love this mascara! I’ve been looking for a good mascara for abt 8 yrs, have pd over $20 a tube for high end name brands. This mascara goes on so nice, it doesn’t burn my eyes & it doesn’t flake, it washes off w/ soap & water but not super easy, so you might need a makeup remover or a little micellar water. So far in my search for mascara, I’m satisfied w/this one, it has a great brush & isn’t clumpy & it really does make your lashes long!

Best overall mascara I’ve ever used! The false lash effect was literally evident with just one coat! The brush is perfect. The tube and wand are very comfortable to hold and use. It dries quickly..which is a great plus! The inexpensive price is wonderful to boot! I’ve bought expensive mascara in the past that don’t measure up to this one. I convinced my hairstylist/makeup artist daughter to give it a try. She has very high standards/expectations of makeup products and she was super happy with this product! She completely agreed with my opinion on this. Lastly, but most importantly.. I loved the fact it’s cruelty free. I can certainly recommend and would buy this mascara again!

I took off a star due to the clumps!! I realize this is a cheap mascara, but I have NEVER seen a product come out of the tube and be so clumpy! I took the time to wipe off the wand on the edge of the tube, like I normally do, but the clumps were still there and made application cumbersome. I had to use a clean spoolie after application to separate my lashes, which took forever. I love that it’s cruelty free, but I won’t be buying again.

I was a little skeptical because of how cheap this is compared to other mascaras out there, but it had so many good reviews that for the price I thought might as well give it a try. I’ll say its not my favorite one to this day, but it does a pretty good job, upside is it makes my lashes look super long and pretty, the downsides are, if I don’t wipe out the excess mascara several times before, I usually get some unwanted lumps but its easily fixed, and it miiiight get a little smudged if rub my eyes after a while. Other than that i love that its super easy to remove and for the daily use I’ll continue to use it!
